Estava passeando no centro de minha cidade e resolvi entrar em uma banca de revistas, algo que sempre que tenho um tempinho faço. Peguei as revistas de guitarras, Guitar Cover e Guitar Player, comecei a folhear, vi uma matéria com o guitarrista Mattias "IA" Eklundh, até então ele não me despertava curiosidade, mas algo me intrigou na matéria que li, vamos a uma pequena pausa, vamos saber mais sobre o Mattias...

Mattias Bernt Johannes Eklundh é o líder da Freak Kitchen, banda sueca de hard rock progressivo , além de participar de vários projetos. IA iniciou também sua carreira solo, paralela as atividades da Freak Kitchen. É chamado pelos amigos de IA, simplesmente porque é um diminutivo de seu nome: Mattias.

Continuando... Cheguei à casa e fui para a maravilhosa internet, o nosso canivete suíço, "Graças a Deus por existir", nossa fonte de informação. Entrei no Youtube e comecei a ver vídeos do Mattias, vi que ele é infinitamente criativo, faz coisas bem diferentes, brinca com sons e timbres, faz coisas que eu nunca tinha imaginado fazer com a guitarra, faz escalas um tanto exóticas. O Guitarrista Eduardo Andanuy, muito conhecido aqui no Brasil e considerado um dos 10 melhores do Brasil, disse em entrevista: "Admiro muito o jeito diferente do Mattias IA tocar". Enfim, achei bacana fazer este post e disponibilizar vídeos para os que não o conhece poder conhecê-lo.
